Mark Linton helps Apprentice stars raise the bar
Having been presented as leaders in their fields, have you ever wondered what happens to The Apprentice runners-up following their fame and glory on television? Well, Kristina Grimes and Jenny Celerier have decided to put their knowledge and expertise to good use by offering up and coming businesses and industry leaders a boost in the competition… and they asked none other than Corkscrew Events’ Director, Mark Linton to give them a hand!
Mark presented a seminar, giving an insight into the world of marketing on a shoe string and ways of developing you and your business through the power of networking. A decade selling for a large corporate company was enough to persuade Mark that networking was an invaluable tool and started his own company on the back of it.
Its premiere at The Business Growth Show Oxfordshire inspired laughter and exuberant note-taking, despite having been presented to an audience of networkers. “Make the call, Take the call or Refer the Call- Networking for success”, certainly offers a fresh perspective and ‘tools, knowledge, enthusiasm and connections to get ahead in 2009’. His impression of a drunken networker is return on investment enough for attending!
The reaction has been so overwhelming that Mark has been asked to speak at the next event the girls are holding and the following event in Birmingham. He is very excited and honoured to be involved in this event, able to pass on his expertise to other growing businesses.
Ironically he owes this opportunity to networking, which is how Mark initially met Kristina and Jenny!
