The Business Growth show is a concept grown from the ideas of Mark Linton & Andy Smith, Directors of Corkscrew Events and The Business Growth Show. 

Having spent many years in different business environments, one thing that both directors agreed on was that Networking and face to face contact was still the best way of growing a business, however paying membership and extras costs to attend an event was something that they weren't happy with and so Corkscrew Events’ Speed Networking was created. These events helped those individuals that could not commit to attending an event every week or to pay out ridiculous membership fees.

Attracting 20-30 people on a weekly basis these events soon began to grow on the back of some fantastic support and dedicated followers and soon they were covering an area from Birmingham to Leicester. This gave the directors the opportunity to run their own Annual Conference and Exhibition in Coventry that attracted over 150 delegates, 15 exhibitors and a couple of keynote speakers. Corkscrew Events were soon being asked to help support Chamber of Commerce events and run the Speed Networking for larger Exhibitions across the country.

Our success soon spread further afield and the first 'Friday Business Club' was born when the opportunity came along to run this event at Old Trafford in Manchester. Since 2006 these have grown into the Business Growth Show and Corkscrew Events now host 24 events a year, covering 12 cities across the U.K. Each show attracts up to 500 business owners and decision makers who come along with the purpose of growing their business. There is the opportunity to network openly throughout the day as well as Speed Network, the unique Corkscrew Events way, as well as attend seminars that provide advice for business growth! Delegates attend FREE thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors who come from across the U.K to showcase their products and seminars.
